Is it safe to put hot pot on Quartz?

The answer to this question is yes, it is safe to put hot pot on Quartz.

Quartz is a mineral that can be used in many different ways, and it doesn't harm the property of other minerals when it's heated up.

Though, it's always better using proper countertops to avoid any risks.

Hot Pot on Quartz

Quartz is made up of many small minerals that are mixed together to form a hard surface.

Quartz countertops are heat resistant but not heat proof.

The countertop can be damaged if exposed to too much heat, as with other materials. However, you may still use a hot pan on it and see immediate scorch marks or brown or yellow discoloration.

This does not mean that the surface is completely ruined- it's an indication of a resin burn - which professional help can usually repair; however, you may also notice that moderately hot pans and pots may cause discoloration if left on the surface for long periods (usually around 10 minutes).
